Eulogia "Jugi" Cardenas

Eulogia Anita, “Jugi” Cardenas, 77 years old of El Prado, NM, passed away peacefully at the Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM on December 14, 2019.

Eulogia was born on July 3, 1942 in El Prado, NM.  Jugi, as everyone knew her by, is preceded in death by her mother Placida Cardenas, her brothers Presciliano and Gilbert Cardenas, nephews Punky Cardenas and Lawrence Tiny Cortez, her padrinos Lupe Medina and Albert Montoya and her father Cristobal Cardenas.

Eulogia “Jugi” Cardenas is survived by her son, Francisco Cardenas, her sisters Fabiola Cortez, Marcella Cardenas, Henrietta Visarriagas and Sheila Martinez.  She is also survived by her brothers Lorenzo “Lencho” Cardenas, Bernabe Visarriagas, and Juan Valdez (Glenda), sisters-in-law Goniva and Epimenia Cardenas and Zilpha Gatlin.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 6:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial for Eulogia “Jugi” Cardenas will be at 10:00AM on Friday December 20, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Dolores Cemetery.
