John J. Ray, 68, resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away at the Taos Living Center on Monday, June 1, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. John was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Gladys M. Ray; sister Bernarda Lasater of Tacoma, Washington; brother-in-law Tom Fuentes, of Truchas, NM. He is survived by his sister Ignacia (Ina) Fuentes of Truchas, NM and nieces Paula Mitchell and Edy Manning of Tacoma, WA., in addition to many friends. Private cremation will take place.
