Lourdes E. Jaramillo

Lourdes E. Jaramillo age 82, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Jaramillo Sr.; daughter Carmen Jean Jaramillo; parents Jose and Corina Esquibel; siblings Roger Esquibel, Victor Esquibel, Tina Chavez, Rose Canongo, Cecilia Hernandez; and son-in-law Armando Ramos.

Lourdes is survived by her children Mary Alice Ramos, Vivian Esquibel, Julian Jaramillo (Cami), Paul Jaramillo (Christine), Bobby Jaramillo (Marianne), Rose Jaramillo (James); granddaughter who she raised as her own Jessica Esquibel (Nathaniel); grandchildren Macaria Ramos, Zachariah Ramos (Erika), Manuel Ramos (Amanda), Bobby Rivera (Fatima), Danny Cortez (Maricella); great-grandchildren Matthew Vasquez, Hannah Ramos, Cyndee Ramos, Jeremiah Ramos, Zion Ramos; siblings Louisa Smith, Daniel Esquibel, Fred Esquibel (Debbie), Francella Fabela (Richard), Patricia Morales, Barbara Contreras (Victor), Anthony Esquibel; aunt who raised her Carmen Archuleta, plus many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Louisa Smith, Tressa McBryde, Mountain Home Health Care and Physical Therapist Daniel for all their care and support.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday April 20, 2021 at 9:00AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions, seating is limited.  Burial will follow at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
