Max worked construction in his early years, which consisted of plastering and roofing. He was a Detox Counselor and was very well known for helping many people with their addictions. He took great pride in his career. His passion for restoring and cruising his classic cars made him feel young. He loved spending time with his family, which he would say his family was his best accomplishment. His wife Nancy was his world who he loved and adored.  She was his everything, he always made sure to take care of her and spoil her.  Their marriage was a definition of TRUE LOVE! Max was also an amazing cook and was very well known for his (famous) Salsa. He loved to decorate the outside of his home every year for Christmas. Everyone who knew him knew he was a jokester.

On behalf of the family, we would like to give a special thank you to his physician Angela Lovell, Mountain Home Health Care, especially Lina Ridge, Father Mike, DeVargas Funeral Home and many more loved ones.

Max will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 5, 2022, at 10am at San Francisco de Asís Catholic Church, Ranchos de Taos, with burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
