Richard Jacobs

Richard Jacobs age 81, a resident of El Prado, passed away peacefully August 20, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents William & Mary Jacobs, brothers William Jacobs and Robert Jacobs.

Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, enlisting at the age of 17.  He was a Professor of Marketing in which he taught at the University of North Texas- Denton, University of Texas El Paso, and Adams State – Alamosa, CO.  Richard passion was getting on the open road and heading out on his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years June Jacobs; children Richard Keith Jacobs (Cheryl) and Jil Anne Echols (Ronald); grandchildren Jessica Eckert and Aaron Echols; great-grandchild Ruby; and many other loving relatives and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to the Stray Hearts Animal Shelter in Taos NM.
