Tomas C. Gallegos

Tomas (Mote) Gallegos, 66, a resident of Questa, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2020 after a long illness.  He was surrounded by his loving family.

Tomas was born December 21, 1953, he was an outgoing, kind-hearted and loving man and will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Christa Jo; his parents Crisiforo and Eva Rael Gallegos; his brother Lawrence Gallegos; in-laws Basil and Heloise Hobbs.

Tomas is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon; his daughter Denise and son Tomas.  He is also survived by his granddaughters Alayna, Venessa, and Alaysia; grandsons Mateo and Emilio; and great-granddaughters, Layla and Mia.  Tomas also leaves behind brothers Robert Gallegos (Evelyn), David Gallegos and Antonio Gallegos; sister Bernadette Weldon (Ken), and many nephews, nieces, and cousins that loved him dearly.

Tomas will be met at the bridge in Questa on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 4:00pm and escorted to the church for Rosary at 6:00pm at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Cemetery in Cerro.
